One of My First 3D Renders Ever
I've been trying to get serious with ZBrush for the past few weeks and this is probably the best I've done so far. I rendered the first image in Maya using the fast skin shader.
Back to Posterous
I'm going to start using Posterous from now on. I changed it to look exactly like my main website and it's much easier to post to Twitter and Facebook. Sadly I'll lose some nifty plugins like Visitor Maps, which shows a live map of who's currently viewing your website, but i'll settle with Google Analytics.
An Update on Me and Macbook Issues
Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of posts recently, but i've just been really busy these past couple weeks. School is winding down and this week is finals week and there are a couple of portfolio reviews. On top of that, my Macbook has been misbehaving and is hopefully getting fixed at the Apple Store. I've been trying for almost a week to fix it. I'm stuck with this horrible Thinkpad R60. Here's the problem. It would run well for a couple hours, but randomly everything would start to freeze. Starting with Finder and Airport, then the whole system and i'll have no choice but to turn it off with the power button. There are no errors in the Console and even clean installs of Snow Leopard won't fix it. I've probably formatted the hard drive 5 times last week. The Genius at the Apple store had no idea what the problem could be, it appears to be running perfectly. I've also decided that i'll start doing web design. I'm already in the process of redesigning my website and i feel like i'm getting good at it. I'll post some work in progress shots maybe tomorrow or when i get my Mac back.
